Recently, Hassidim in Williamsburg have been allowed by their Rebbe (spiritual leader) to wear any sort of glasses frames, not just the large coke-bottle looking ones with the thick 50’s frame along the top. How long is it before they are allowed to wear what you see in the hipster stores? Why should it matter?
